Improv Drop-In Class

Improv Drop-In Class

These “drop-in” classes are perfect for students who might not have a schedule that allows for an entire 8-week session. During each class, students can gain more confidence, more creativity, and more playfulness with the basic improv skills of listening, reacting, working with others, and trusting oneself. Whether students “drop-in” for just one of these workshops, the whole series, or anywhere in between, they will get a small taste of how the art and fun of improv can impact life in a positive way. Each workshop is different, but all will contain fun group games, skill enhancement exercises, and short form performance play.

All experience levels are welcome, and there’s no experience necessary. Enroll for all 3 drop-in sessions ahead of time for $115 or sign up for individual drop-in workshops for $44 each.

What People Are Saying:

  • She is knowledgeable, experienced, joyful, and kind.  I love her classes. Every session is a treat for my soul.

    —Jan Jensen

  • If you want to connect deeply, be fully present, and build unshakable confidence in front of an audience, take one of Amanda’s classes. It will change you.

    —Matt

  • I took my first improv class with Amanda, and I’m so glad I started with her. I walked into that class terrified - I had no acting experience and was rarely funny. She created an environment where I felt encouraged and safe to be vulnerable (a rarity for me at that time)….I can also honestly say that her classes have changed my life outside of improv – I’m more open, more comfortable with failure and less stressed in social situations.

    —Sylvester Russell

  • I really enjoyed the safe environment that Amanda created.  I am really a beginner and I never felt like an outsider during the workshop.  Amanda made sure that we all walked away with a new skill and ways to think outside of the box!

    —CJ Leavens

  • Amanda is one of the finest teachers I have ever had, and that covers a lot of territory. She will help you find something special within yourself.

    —Jim

  • She knows the importance of taking the time to establish an environment of acceptance, openness and trust, and that makes all the difference in the learning experience!

    —Jeremy Chapman

  • Amanda creates a sacred space—a judgment-free zone where you’re encouraged to silence the inner critic, shed self-doubt, and simply be. She has an uncanny ability to pull you out of your head and into the moment. As someone who’s spent years analyzing every response before speaking, I’ve learned through her guidance how to transition from reacting to truly responding.
