I took my first improv class when I was 14 years old. I was so nervous to speak in front of people and I’d had a difficult time making friends in my younger years. But improv classes changed all of that. Improv training gave my young, teen self confidence, creative expression, a sense of belonging, and the ability to forge strong friendships.
